Space Ark (Gundam)

In Gundam F-91, the Crossbone Vangard movement attacked and occupied the Frontier Side (formally known as Side 4). As the Vanguard continued its takeover, the Federation vessel Space Ark became embroiled in the fight.

The Space Ark is an Ark class ship. The Ark class was the overhauled evolution of the Clop class ship that began appearing in UC 0093, as depicted in Char's Counterattack. The Space Ark is used by the Federation to train Mobile Suit pilots and ship personnel. During the upheaval of the Crossbone Vanguard invasion, the vessel unexpectedly becomes the focus of Federation and civilian resistance to the Vanguard. These events are depicted in the Gundam F-91 film.
