[edit] Renaming a page
(With reference to your question on the new contributor's help page) Please don't try to rename a page by copying the text and then redirecting the original; this leads to the copyright on the page getting confused. I've tagged the page to request an administrator to sort it out. When your account is 4 days old, you'll be able to rename pages using the 'move' tab near the 'edit' tab; until then, the tab won't appear, and you can request moves by asking at requested moves or the assistance village pump. Hope that helps! --ais523 13:33, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
- I've fixed the move. If this was written by someone else than yourself, copying and pasting the text would detach the history that gives all the attribution from the article. If you use the move tab you will soon get, the history of the article gets moved along with the text. As for the article itself, I recommend you read Wikipedia:Tutorial; the article could use some formatting. - Mgm|(talk) 22:24, 20 March 2007 (UTC)
