[edit] Boy Who Drowns In Pool

Has anyone noticed anything strange in the Southgate Anderson High School....well i have. There is a myth that you can see a boy, at the age of 17, in the pool of this High School. If you turn off the lights and you are the last one out, you may see the boy anywhere. Maybe walking around or swimming in the pool. No one knows if this is true but some students of this High School say they even see him walking in the High School hallways! We believe his name was Brian Hufford....but no one has a clue, because no one could actully see his face real clearly...All we know is that there is something going wrong in this High School and nobody knows...The students in Anderson High School, you better watch out in that pool or you could suffer life! —Preceding unsigned comment added by 68.43.50.160 (talk) 22:27, 12 February 2008

[edit] Chief of Police section

I removed the portion on the chief of police. No other city has a section on the chief of police. It just seems like an irrelevant and minor detail to add to an encyclopedia entry, sort of like mentioning who the superintendent of the board of education is or the high school's principal. --68.43.49.69 (talk) 10:45, 4 May 2008 (UTC)

[edit] "Heart of Downriver"

At the end of the main top section, it says that Southgate is the "Heart of Downriver". That sounds a bit too much of a stretch of opinion to me, personally. Several other Downriver communities could easily claim the same, and I think that line ought to be removed.

Anyone agree or think I'm off base with this? I realize it's not entirely clear cut, hence mentioning here rather than just removing it myself.

The city used to refer to itself as the "Heart of Downriver," but it has since changed to the "Dining Capital of Downriver." If you do Google images for "The Heart of Downriver," you can still see old cached images from the official city website where it used to say "Welcome to the City of Southgate: The Heart of Downriver!"
I'm not sure if it is a better idea to remove the old nickname or to just note the recent change. --Apostmodernrobot (talk) 04:37, 23 May 2008 (UTC)
