[edit] Southern Sierra Miwuk language controversy
When examining the Southern Sierra Miwuks informants in Sylvia Broadbent's Southern Sierra Miwuk dictionary[1] their genealogy was Casson Yokut[2] and not Miwuk. Casson Yokuts are a separate group than the Southern Sierra Miwuks.[3] Yosemite Indian 09:21, 4 August 2007 (UTC)
