Oldest Cutsoms Union in the world? Are we sure? What about the Benelux, which well predates this Union if it began as the article states in 1970? What about the customs union between Switzerland and Lichtenstein? Could the article be referring to the predecessor customs union that it says began in 1910? "By late 2004 SACU was negotiating a Free Trade deal with the United States. A Free Trade deal is scheduled to be signed between it and EFTA in November 2005 and to become active in the beginning of 2006." Anyone know how this worked out? Spearmintmints 21:04, 20 August 2007 (UTC)
