I agree that this page appears to be spam in its present form, but the subject of the speciality birds of (southern) Texas and the interest they attract from North American birders, if covered properly, would make a valid and interesting article. There's plenty of readily available source material on this subject. A better title is probably needed, and we need to ensure we don't end up writing a Wikitravel article. That's a reasonable suggestion. At the very least, I would expect the article to document (1) what is it about the enivronment of South Texas makes it the sole home of some species and (2) what those species are. I've suggested a title; perhaps someone more familiar with birding could weigh in? OhNoitsJamieTalk 18:34, 30 May 2006 (UTC)
