Talk:South Russian Ovcharka
From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
[edit] Interesting article, but...
1) A reference link is broken. 2) It would be nice if the English was a little smoother, e.g., in the Appearance section. Fewer short sentences. 3) Comments like "Ovcharka is not for everyone" are subjective, and inexact. Probably best just to delete that sentence. 4) Primary reference should be in English.
This is a quote from Wiki policy on Verifiability
"Where editors use non-English sources, they should ensure that readers can verify for themselves the content of the original material and the reliability of its author/publisher.
Where editors use a non-English source to support material that others might challenge, or translate any direct quote, they need to quote the relevant portion of the original text in a footnote or in the article, so readers can check that it agrees with the article content."
5) If I had to take a bet, I'd bet this article is from copyrighted material. Copyrighted material cannot be copied in large amounts for Wiki articles, even if translated.
