Let's see if we can reconstruct these. I think all of the Thornbury RDC and Chipping Sodbury RDC were in the area, and these included the Patchway and Filton areas, (as well as, in the north, the Berkeley/Sharpness area). That takes us to the Bristol City boundary. The river Severn bounded the West, and I don't think the area went east of CS RDC. (Kingswood was a separate UDC and constituency.)
