South Dakota Sate University's Marching Band 'Pride of The Dakotas' Is also the only College University Band to be Invited Twice to The Rose Bowl Parade. In the 2008 Rose Bowl Parade the Band Will be marching once again. It was announced to the public and fellow band members durning the Pride's Indoor Concert.

[edit] Changing their logo

After recently joining Division 1 athletics, SDSU has hired a marketing firm to design a new Jackrabbit-based logo to replace the old one, which people found to resemble Bugs Bunny too much. Why isn't there much on a c a d e m i c s here? I mean, sure it's our university's weakest quality, but there should be some info on it just the same.TeamZissou 09:39, 2 April 2007 (UTC)

Are we sure that "You can go anywhere from here" is the school's official motto? It sounds more like an advertising slogan. AlexiusHoratius 23:35, 11 July 2007 (UTC)
