Talk:South Croydon

- I don't belive that when people talk of South Croydon they don't mean the road. Is that fair? Pafcool2 18:25, 25 May 2007 (UTC)
[edit] South Croydon, West Croydon, Croydon? Where do they start and end?
The problem of South Croydon is and remains what people interpret to be South Croydon. Do people in Sanderstead or Selsdon really think they live in South Croydon, or do they think they live in Croydon. I think the latter is the case. It's a very moveable border, and is negotiable with each individual what he believes. I think both articles South Croydon and West Croydon belong to Croydon. These have been created artificially. Everyone has a different interpretation of where South and West Croydon starts. Is West Croydon half-way down North End or right at the end of North End? Who knows? It can't be determined, mere signposts may either show the way to West or South Croydon or may be part of West or South. Who knows? We certainly know where we stand with Croydon.
