I've edited and expanded this article, based largely from The Long View by Alan Paton. I will present more on it once I have obtained more material and got together my collection of stuff. Unfortunately for the moment I will rely heavily on Paton's writings, which is not entirely satisfactory from a presenting the big picture approach, but would like to obtain other material. (I have access to one biography of Patrick Duncan Jnr, that I will refer to once I dig it out of the Cory Library again)
