I met the author while an elementary student at Warner Christian Academy in South Daytona Beach, Florida, in approximately 1978. We met him at his large Florida property where he talked about his books and characters and fielded questions from his many young fans that day. We were a part of an experimental wing of the school called "Rainbow Corner" which was an old house on school property that they converted into a mini schoolhouse. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 205.157.244.33 (talk • contribs)
