Southwest Covenant School

Southwest Covenant School is a Christian private school in Yukon, Oklahoma with just under 250 students enrolled in Kindergarten through 12th grade. The school was established in 1982 and is accredited by Christian Schools International (CSI).

The school's educational philosophy is based on the centrality of all truth coming from God and His Son, Jesus Christ, as revealed in the Bible. Southwest Covenant School's aim is to teach and instill a Biblical world view in the students, while also providing them with the knowledge needed to succeed in life. Since Jesus Christ is LORD, all education must center upon His sovereignty. Southwest Covenant School emphasizes excellence in education that permeates all areas of life.

The average cumulative ACT scores for all SWCS graduates is 25.92. The great majority of SWCS graduates have attended or are currently attending institutions of higher learning where they have enjoyed a great deal of success in their studies.

The purpose and philosophy of the athletic program is to use athletics as a discipleship training ministry for equipping students for a lifetime of service to the LORD. We desire to accomplish this through an emphasis on the knowledge, character, perspective, and commitment of Christ to His world. SWCS participates in numerous sports including football, golf, tennis, basketball, and volleyball.
