Southern Stars is a huge music and performance event hosted in the Win Arena in Wollongong, performing 2000 school students from the southern part of New South Wales. Children from lower classes of primary school up to almost young professionals present. A choir of pupils and an orchestra play an important role of the event. It is a great experience for kids and parents.
Southern Stars began in 2001 and is held annually in the latter part of the year.

In 2007 southern stars theme was "musica can you feel it". Many believe that this show was the best ever with the spectacular finsh of "can you feel the music". A great job by all involved.
