Southern Gospel Celebration

The Southern Gospel Celebration is a once-a-week radio show that airs on WXML 90.1 FM Radio in Upper Sandusky, Ohio live every Wednesday night from 6:30 - 8:30 P.M. eastern time and online at www.wxml.cc. The show is hosted by Nate Redmond and plays southern gospel music. Nate started in radio at age 13.

Nate first hosted "The Southern Gospel Concert" in 2001 when the original host, Gary Lyons, took the summer off. He took over full-time hosting in April of 2003 and hosted until April of 2006. Gary Lyons returned as show host with his wife Brenda in April of 2006. Nate left WXML for three months.

In August of 2006 Nate returned to WXML Radio. In August the Southern Gospel Celebration was born. Nate mixes traditional and progressive southern gospel with contests, offbeat news, and clean humor. In summer of 2007 WXML New Vision FM went from 3,000 watts to 15,000 watts. Now, the Southern Gospel Celebration can be heard in all of Northwest Ohio.
