Southampton Mustangs Baseball Club was started in 1997 at the University of Southampton in Southampton, England.
Over the years, the Mustangs have competed at various levels in the British Baseball Federation (BBF). They currently play in the Premiership after earning promotion from division 1 last year.
Their star player is Ashley Cooper who has this year suffered from a horrendous slump only coming good towards the end of the season. Dave Duggan is also a great player worthy of mention and an excellent rookie. But everyone in the Mustangs would unanimously agree that they feel blessed with the presence of their key talented performer Raj.
The Southampton Mustangs famously defeated the London Mets in the 2007 season to become the first premier league side to take a game from a National League side.
