South Seas Island Resort is a resort located on the shores of the Gulf of Mexico on Captiva Island, Florida in Lee County. In 2004 South Seas was seriously damaged by Hurricane Charley, and was renovated and reconstructed in the two following years. South Seas Resort is owned and managed by Luxury Resorts, a subsidiary of The Blackstone Group. South Seas has a trolley system that provides fairly regular service through the resort and to nearby restaurants.

The resort has seen an increase in tourism since it reopened. There have been extensive renovations to the facilities, including a new pool complex. Services also have improved after some initial problems although the restaurants within the resort are relatively ordinary and mostly overpriced.
