South Davidson High (SDHS) is located near Denton, North Carolina. Billy Hunt is the interim principal. South's points of pride are: Meeting Acceptable Yearly Progress (AYP) under Federal No Child Left Behind Act for 2003-2004, 2004-2005, and 2005-2006. They have been nicknamed Big Blue, and they are the Wildcats. They are adjoined to South Davidson Middle School (SDMS).
