South Dakota Highway 17 is a state route located in southeast South Dakota. It begins in Lennox, at a junction with South Dakota Highway 44. It runs northerly to South Dakota Highway 42 west of Sioux Falls. It is 14 miles (23 kilometers) in length.

South Dakota 17 was implemented around 1929. While the northern alignment has not changed, it originally extended southward from Lennox to South Dakota Highway 46 near Centerville. This southern segment was deleted in 1994.
