South Cobb High School is a high school in Austell, Georgia. Founded in 1952, South Cobb High school is part of the Cobb County School District. The principal is Dr. Grant Rivera. with 1,900 students

- Country Singer/Songwriter Ray Stephens graduated from South Cobb. Mr. Stephens is still active in the country music industry.
- Former Georgia governor Roy Barnes graduated from South Cobb in 1966. Governor Barnes currently heads the Barnes Law Group in Marietta, Georgia.
- Founding member of three-time Grammy-award winning band Third Day, Billy Wilkins graduated from South Cobb. Mr. Wilkins currently teaches AP Economics at Cobb County's newest high school, Hillgrove High School
- Former All-Star Player Taquar Stewart played here and played in what many know as the Georgia-Florida Bowl.
Former Drama Teacher/Director Carrol Fuller left in the 2006/2007 year after a long ten years. And her spot has been taken by Elissa Greenfield who will be showing "Noises Off" October 19th 20th and 21st. and "Peace of Mind" November 9th. Mrs.Greenfield is now directing The Wiz which is to open on April 25th,2008 and closing April 27th, 2008.
