Sound will be a new weekly music programme to be broadcast on BBC Two from October 2007 as part of the Switch teen strand. It will be presented by Annie Mac and Nick Grimshaw. It will feature live performances and interviews over a range of music genres. The programe will be filling the gap of music programmes on terrestrial television in the United Kingdom as the BBC's Top of the Pops was axed in 2006 as well as ITV's CD:UK. Channel 4's Popworld was axed in 2007.
