Soufflenheim, despite its German name, is a town and commune in North-eastern France, in the Bas-Rhin département, in the Alsace région of France. It is also known for its pottery an is also known as Cité des Potiers

Soufflenheim lies in the middle of a hilly forested field and meadow like countryside about 15 km east from Haguenau, 30 km north-east from Straßburg and 35 km south-west from Karlsruhe. 5 km east flows the Rhine river.

Famous guitarist and bassist Biréli Lagrène was born in this very town in 1966.
