This is a scan from a 1951 book, 75th Anniversary Official National League History, p.30. The photo is quite small. This is a blowup, which brings out more detail but also makes it grainier. It is also darkened to bring out more details of the sign, at the expense of other details in the photo. Its purpose is to illustrate the "official" name of the ballpark popular known as "South End Grounds".
