Soundies_-_Ramblin_Wreck_from_Georgia_Tech.ogg (Ogg Vorbis sound file, length 40s, 112kbps)
[edit] Summary
- Description: This is a Soundie. It is "The Gordonairs of Fred Waring's Pennsylvanians and The University Chorus" singing "Ramblin' Wreck from Georgia Tech."
- Source: The sound was ripped from the video here on the Internet Archive by User:Disavian, and then cropped and processed to improve the quality and to convert it to the Ogg Vorbis format.
- License: While this was probably made between 1940 to 1946,[1] text on the internet archive source and this forum thread clearly state that Soundies are in the public domain; this is probably because they were (most likely) made by the U.S. Government as a war promotion effort.
