The Southern Manifesto was a written decree signed by 19 Southern Senators and 81 U.S. House Of Representatives condemning the Supreme Court's ruling of Brown vs. Board of Education. Some of the most prominent senators from the 11 former states of the Confederacy signed the Manifesto.
