[edit] Summary
First 30 seconds of opening of First Movement: Prelude of Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji's Organ Symphony No.1. Full length of the work is just under 2 hours.
Rationale: Reduced-sound-quality sample to illustrate Kaikhosru Shapurji Sorabji and Kevin Bowyer articles; he is the only organist ever to have played and recorded this organ work, one of the most difficult ever written.
The recording (CCD 1001/2) is long out of print and very hard to find: for anyone who wants to hear the whole performance, a suggestion is to look in a music/performing arts library.
