Hi there! I did read your rock pigeon page. You are correct there is a diffrent group of Rock Pigeons which live in Australia, which is why I created a disambiguation page. However, the name of the Rock Dove (feral pigeon) over the past 5 years or so has now been changed by the scientific community to Rock Pigeon to better reflect its systematics. Unfortunately, most of the world knows the Rock Pigeon as a resident of city streets and parks which is why I believe it also should be includedon the page. My suggestion is to create a couple pages linking the species you have "down under" to the disambig page. Hope it clarifies. Feel free to write back Pmeleski 12:11, 9 November 2006 (UTC)

Thank you for the clarification. I am by no means an authority on the subject, the article in question was one that came up under a "random article" search. I reverted your edits to Richard Richards. Besides adding an unnecessary red link to a disambiguation page, it arbitrarily picked one of the two politicians named Richard Richards to receive the moniker of (politician).
