Sonali Gulati

Sonali Gulati is a filmmaker and an Assistant Professor in Virginia Commonwealth University’s Department of Photography & Film.
Gulati is originally from New Delhi, India [1]. She received her B.A. in Critical Social Thought from Mount Holyoke College in 1996 and M.F.A. in Film & Media Arts from Temple University in 2004. She has made several short films that have screened at nearly 200 film festivals worldwide.
Her award-winning 2005 documentary film, Nalini by Day, Nancy by Night explores business process outsourcing in India.
