Konami announces that the highly anticpated PlayStation 3 exclusive game Metal Gear Solid 4: Guns of the Patriots will be released on June 12, 2008, with an online beta beginning on April 21.[1]

Sony announces that the DualShock 3 PlayStation 3 game controller will release in North America on April 15, 2008, for a MSRP of US$54.99. [3]
NPD Group announces that the PlayStation 3 outsold the Xbox 360 in North America for the first time in January.[4]
