[edit] Notability

The label was influential on setting the 80s music style. It's early discography is certainly notable, and a list of releases would overpower the label article itself. There are other well-established comparable discographies on Wikipedia such as Island Records discography. Article should be moved to Some Bizzare Records discography. Personally I think the individual citations are over-the-top but if it keeps the sticklers happy, so be it. It is good etiquette, IMHO, rather than to just remove the notability and sources tags, to invite the editors that posted them to remove them themselves when they are satisfied. Also, claims of notabilty should be posted here rather than in the article itself. Wwwhatsup (talk) 20:09, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

I've done the move. Wwwhatsup (talk) 20:09, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] Depeche Mode

I've removed "Some Bizzare also introduced the world to Depeche Mode [1] on it's Some Bizzare Album." from the introduction.

According to the cite that record charted in Mar 81. According to Depeche Mode Mute released a DM single in Feb 1981. Wwwhatsup (talk) 20:40, 22 December 2007 (UTC)

[edit] B-Movie

There surely was a 12" of "Nowhere Girl". I used to own one. Wwwhatsup (talk) 22:25, 26 December 2007 (UTC)

If you have a catalogue number we can add it. --Clunkbox (talk) 07:48, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

[edit] Image Gallery

While the image gallery is certainly pretty I believe current WP policy is that such stuff is non-kosher. See WP:NONFREE#Acceptable_images. It basically says that cover images are only acceptable as fair use when they are critically discussed in the article. I don't want to see a bunch of good effort go to waste when the first deletionist pops in. Of course it could be quite possible that permission could be got from the label - see Wikipedia:Requesting copyright permission for how to go about that. to avoid someone else deleting it, shall I do it? it would be a shame --Clunkbox (talk) 07:49, 3 January 2008 (UTC)
