The article fails to mention that uddy color of cats are in actuality, a minority of the color of Somails. The majority of most Somalthe Ri cats are Bleu in color. Also I have two somali cats and I can tell you that in actulaity they are one of the highest maitenance cats I have had as far as hair goes.
It's worth mentioning that UK colours are Usual, Sorrel, Fawn, Blue, Silver, Sorrel Silver. Secondly, Somalis are classed as semi-longhair by GCCF. Thirdly, I agree with the article about maintenance, having had five. Richard Pinch 21:48, 19 August 2006 (UTC)
RUDDY COATS! grr! and you can't spell colour.
Origin - I believe Somali cats actually originated in Canada. I do agree with the dental problems, however. One of my Somali cats had all his teeth removed and his sister had most of her teeth extracted. They were born in 1992.--Cosmicship (talk) 21:40, 13 March 2008 (UTC)
