In relation to the edit, Mr Urqhart Barham still teaches astronomy, I'm in my final year of it at the moment.

[edit] School Legends and Mythos

I started this section to collect the stories that school kids normally come up with (everyone knows them). If anyone remembers any from when they were at SVC, please add.

lol. Yup, they sound like the stories I know of those two teachers... I know the "Photographer" (used to teach me English) and the "Vampire" (also taught me English and Latin)
Sorry to spoil your fun, but the legends and myths section does not meet the verifiability standards, and I have removed it (again). I will keep doing so until the content is properly sourced. I'm not saying that I disbelieve those who claim to be (or to have been) pupils and to know what legends are doing the rounds, but the fact is that anyone can say these things, which is why there is a consensus for the verifiability standards. If there is some writeup of the story in the media, even just the Soham and Ely rag, then there is some material which we can meaningfully quote in the article. I'll see if I can dig up any sources, there might be a few in some of the local history books.
