Mohammad Sohel Islam is a First class and List A cricketer from Bangladesh. He was born on 10 July 1977 in Satkhira, Khulna and is a right handed batsman and off break bowler. Sometimes referred to on scoresheets by his nickname Shohel, he played for Khulna Division between 2000/01 and 2001/02, taking 40 first class wickets with a best of 5 for 84 against Chittagong Division.
