This article appears to not serve much purpose/provide much information. If someone can add more information such as historical significance that would help. Otherwise this article could possibly be a candidate for deletion. Darkwraith 20:57, 20 June 2006 (UTC)

Some material added from the Norwegian page. I would suggest that, although probably a short article until someone takes the time to write more, it is: 1) a real place, 2) is referenced by other articles so has some notability, & 3) has usefulness as gazetteer-style material.
The Wikipedia is an interactive data-base structure and allows (encourages) slow but steady growth by adding articles at ever decreasing levels of significance. Not every article will be matched one-for-one by the Encyclopedia Britannica—and that's what I value—there are things in the Wikipedia that are never going to make it to the scale/significance that they go into the Encyclopedia Britannica—and yet they are of interest as you read articles in Wikipedia and you can find them here. Let’s “Keep Wikipedia Weird.”

I am not good at technical things, so I avoid messing up the original page. I was searching for "Sognsvann" to find out the distance around the lake (important for runners), but it wasn't included. Have found the info somewhere else: one round is 3258 m. Would be good if someone could add it to the article. Blueelephant 16:23, 6 September 2007 (UTC)
