Sogn Studentby is a residential area for students located in the north of Oslo, close to Norway's national football ground Ullevaal Stadium.

The buildings are managed and maintained by the student welfare organization SIO, the "Foundation for Student Life in Oslo" (Studentsamskipnaden i Oslo). Sogn Studentby consists mostly of about 1288 single rooms. It is one of the cheapest housing areas for students in Oslo. More than one third of the students living at Sogn are from abroad. There are common kitchens and the bathrooms have to be shared with 7 persons on average.

Sogn Studentby is easily reachable by public transport. The closest stop of Oslo subway T-bane is Ullevål Stadion. From there it takes about ten minutes to walk to Sogn. The main campus Blindern of Oslo University is located about 3.5 kilometers from Sogn.

Sogn Studenby has its own bar run by students called "Amatøren". Among the most popular activities is the movie night each Sunday as well as the quiz nights every Thursday.
