The information submitted by an anonymous user was found to duplicate info at Find A Grave: Sofu Teshigahara, but on contacting the author, Fred Beisser, he responded:
- "Thanks for your note. And I am certainly pleased to find that Wikipedia is careful about the information that is added to its website.
- "It occurs to me that I may have added the Sofu Teshigahara bio to Wikipedia myself at the time I created the Findagrave.com bio. My late wife had studied directly with Sofu Teshigahara in Tokyo in the late 1970s and therefore I had an interest in his bio.
- "I am pleased to grant permission to use my work and for it to be available under the GNU Free Documentation License provided proper credit is given by those who choose to use the bio."
