You want to know how much is paid out in Social Security benefits?

here is a list of tables that give all that information on a monthly basis

and here is SSI

a nice fact sheet on those who receive benefits, including average benefits

And in here you should be able to find the costs spent on running the administration

Enjoy, if I don't get around to this before you do..... and I have a lot of work to do elsewhere, so you better beat me to it.
