Is Snowshoe Mountain the official name of the peak? It isn't listed at the USGS Geographic Names Information System. -- hike395 06:21, 17 January 2006 (UTC)

The official name of the peak is Thorny Flat (4,848 feet). Snowshoe is the name of the resort and the unincorporated town at the base of the mountain. --Dabonnett 16:03, 31 May 2006 (UTC)

[edit] Mountain biking trails

It's kind of late at night to do right now, but would anybody mind if I heavily edit this to talk about both the summer and winter seasons of the mountain, along with the things you can do there? I know lots about t he biking portion.--Xernous 05:41, 15 April 2007 (UTC)
