Sneaker Freaker is a bi-annual Australian independent magazine dedicated to coverage of topics relating to sneakers. The magazine was launched in 2002 and has a current print run of 30,000 copies, it is sold in over 35 countries. Sneaker Freaker was originally conceived as a means for it's editor, Simon Wood, to get free shoes.
The magazine is set to become a tri-annual magazine in 2008, a Spanish version of the magazine will also be produced in 2008.
Sneaker Freaker is also a term for a shoe enthusiast, the audience of the magazine.
