My user page used to say that I was 'proud to be a member of the Wikipedia community.' I recently discovered the comment below on the page of sNkrSnee and it sums up my present attitude towards Wikipedia quite nicely.

I was never much of a wikipedian, and after some recent research and reconsideration, I plan on being even less of one. I've reached the conclusion that there are flaws inherent in the structure and process which prevent WP from realizing its promise, or even its principles. I'm convinced it's unlikely I could change that. I won't elaborate further here [...] other than to make clear that my occasional participation should not be misconstrued as an endorsement of Wikipedia. [...] Don't be scared though, I'm pretty affable and all. Just deeply skeptical. I'm keeping my account - as long as WP exists, I reserve the right to participate. Just don't mistake me for a true believer.
