Welcome to Wikipedia. We invite everyone to contribute constructively to the encyclopedia. However, one or more of the external links you added to the page Paul O'Halloran do not comply with our guidelines for external links and have been removed. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links; nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page before reinserting it. Please take a look at the welcome page to learn more about contributing to this encyclopedia. Thank you. Ivansanchez 11:00, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Please do not add inappropriate external links to Wikipedia, as you did to Helen Hutchinson. Wikipedia is not a mere directory of links, nor should it be used for advertising or promotion. Inappropriate links include (but are not limited to) links to personal web sites, links to web sites with which you are affiliated, and links that attract visitors to a web site or promote a product. See the external links guideline and spam policy for further explanations. Since Wikipedia uses nofollow tags, external links do not alter search engine rankings. If you feel the link should be added to the article, then please discuss it on the article's talk page rather than re-adding it. Thank you. Ivansanchez 11:04, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Trying to update Candidates for the Australian Greens for the Australian Federal Election in 2007. Creating page, then adding details as time permits.

Rather than create several with nothing more than an external link creat one with content and there is a less likely chance that it will be deleted. CambridgeBayWeather (Talk) 11:09, 16 August 2007 (UTC)

Thanks muchly for the advice!

[edit] Notability of Sophie Houghton

A tag has been placed on Sophie Houghton, requesting that it be speedily deleted from Wikipedia. This has been done because the article appears to be about a person, group of people, band, club, company, or web content, but it does not indicate how or why the subject is notable: that is, why an article about that subject should be included in an encyclopedia. Under the criteria for speedy deletion, articles that do not assert the subject's importance or significance may be deleted at any time. Please see the guidelines for what is generally accepted as notable.

If you think that you can assert the notability of the subject, you may contest the deletion by adding {{hangon}} to the top of the page (just below the existing speedy deletion or "db" tag), coupled with adding a note on the article's talk page explaining your position, but be aware that once tagged for speedy deletion, if the article meets the criterion it may be deleted without delay. Please do not remove the speedy deletion tag yourself, but don't hesitate to add information to the article that would confirm the subject's notability under Wikipedia guidelines.

For guidelines on specific types of articles, you may want to check out our criteria for biographies, for web sites, for bands, or for companies. Feel free to leave a note on my talk page if you have any questions about this. Smashville 02:02, 17 August 2007 (UTC)

[edit] DB Class ETA 150

This is an automated message from CorenSearchBot. I have performed a web search with the contents of DB Class ETA 150, and it appears to include a substantial copy of http://www.prescriptiondrug-info.com/drug_information_online.asp?title=DB_Class_ETA_150. For legal reasons, we cannot accept copyrighted text or images borrowed from other web sites or printed material; such additions will be deleted. You may use external websites as a source of information, but not as a source of sentences.

This message was placed automatically, and it is possible that the bot is confused and found similarity where none actually exists. If that is the case, you can remove the tag from the article and it would be appreciated if you could drop a note on the maintainer's talk page. CorenSearchBot (talk) 04:52, 9 February 2008 (UTC)
