[edit] Notability

The article is about an ISKCON Swami. Previous Afd debates have concluded (and I acknowledge that this is not set in stone) that ISKCON swamis are notable as they represent a small body of religious leaders within the Hare Krishna movement. Please note, Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Sacinandana Swami (2nd nomination). Thanks. I will remove the notabity tag until a reasonably arguement is made countering this assertion of notability. Thanks. Ism schism (talk) 04:27, 22 April 2008 (UTC)

Thanks for the more expansive explanation. Now that I am aware of the above, I'm happy to drop the notability matter at this point. I will suggest that it would be nice to explain that more clearly within the article itself, though. The link to swami doesn't really make that readily evident because it apparently also has a broader context. Erechtheus (talk) 04:45, 22 April 2008 (UTC)
