Smile for Me is the name of a studio album by legendary Country music singer, Lynn Anderson, released in 1974.
This was one of two albums released by Lynn Anderson in 1974. This album was named for the single, "Smile for Me", one of two singles released from this album, the other was "Takin' to the Wall". The title track was the first single released from the album, and the first to be released in 1974. The song reached No. 15 on the Billboard Country charts. This was odd for Anderson, being she hadn't had a hit outside Country's Top 10 since mid 1970. However, "Talkin' to the Wall", which was originally a Country hit for Warner Mack in the mid-60s did evern better. Anderson's version climbed to the Top 10 on the Country charts at No. 7. This album was successful for Anderson placing at No. 14 on Billboard's "Top Country Albums" chart in 1974.
This was another Lynn Anderson album that consisted of 11 tracks, most of which were all new songs. Some of the songs were either written co-written by Glenn Sutton.
