[edit] Stephen Twigg

We can do either or both of two things: Request the page to be semiprotected (i.e. temporary disabling of IP/new user editing) at WP:RFPP and/or we could list the IPs at WP:AIV, after a final warning. Do you want to list the page at WP:RFPP or should I do it? —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 17:49, 18 March 2007 (UTC)

Well done, we will have to wait and see if they direct us towards AIV or sprotect the article. If a vandal can easily be singled out, the preferred course of action is to block the account/IP. Our common friend has a shared IP which cannot be blocked as easily, so I hope they simply sprotect the page (in most cases it makes simple vandals get bored and walk away). As suggested by ReyBrujo, I established Talk:Stephen_Twigg#Contested_paragraph and put an according note on the talk page of the most recent IP. Let's wait and see. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 18:25, 18 March 2007 (UTC)
Well, this is actually somewhat strange, the removed paragraph is identical while the removing IP is totally different. I suggest requesting an sprotect at WP:RFPP and putting a deletion warning message (e.g. {{uw-delete2}}, include it as "{{subst:uw-delete2}} ~~~~") onto the IPs talk page. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 15:13, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
On second thought, the article will not be sprotected, as there is no heavy vandalism going on at the time. I put the warning on the IPs talk page, though, pointing also to the Stephen Twigg talk page. —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 15:51, 21 March 2007 (UTC)

Btw: have you ever thought about having Werdnabot auto-archive your talk page? —KNcyu38 (talkcontribs) 15:54, 21 March 2007 (UTC)
