[edit] Club career
Beginning his career with OFK Belgrade, Rajković soon gained a reputation as an extremely talented youngster. His reputation was such that in November 2005, when he was aged just sixteen, English club Chelsea F.C. agreed to a €5.2m euro(3.8m GBP) deal for the centre-half; a world record at the time for a player under eighteen years of age.
Under the terms of the deal, Rajković will stay at OFK Belgrade on loan from Chelsea until the end of the 2006-07 Serbian Superliga season. Chelsea will loan Rajković to PSV Eindhoven during the 2007-08 season, as part of the deal surrounding Alex Rodrigo Dias da Costa's move to Chelsea. [1]
[edit] International career
By the age of sixteen he was a regular in the Serbia and Montenegro national under-21 football team. He was the youngest player ever to appear in a qualifying match of the UEFA European Under-21 Football Championship.[2]
