[edit] Summary

Concrete curb construction. This is a method called "slipforming". The stiff mix concrete is loaded from the concrete truck into the curb machine where it is dropped into a vibrating steel form that moves with the machine. As the machine moves along, the concrete is left behind in the shape of the curb and gutter. The string adjacent to the machine dictates the grade of the curb and gutter.
