From Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia
Greetings!
My name is Ryan, and it's my pleasure to welcome you, SLC1, to Wikipedia! First of all, I'd like to thank you for joining the project, and contributing to articles and discussion. I hope you can continue to take part in Wikipedia, because we need more valuable editors like yourself.
If you are new and need some assistance, here are some great links to check out:
- The five pillars of Wikipedia are the primary goals and most important rules that we follow.
- "How to edit a page" is a general guide to the basics of editing existing articles and starting new ones.
- These help pages are important if you'd like to learn more about specific processes.
- The tutorial is a hands-on approach to learning all about editing.
- Writing a great article is a noble accomplishment. An article you start might end up on the Main Page!
- The Manual of style is an in-depth group of pages that will teach you how to make articles look their very best.
I hope you enjoy editing here, and being a Wikipedian! If you have any questions, find out where to ask a question or ask me on my talk page. Before I go, here's one more tip. When you post on talk pages, be sure to sign your name and the date by typing for tildes: [[User:Merovingian|Merovingian]] 18:35, 6 December 2005 (UTC). That automatically generates your username and the date. Again, welcome, and happy editing! --Merovingian 18:35, 6 December 2005 (UTC)

[edit] "Utah English"
I saw the comment you left on the Utah English article, and I wrote a little back (and clarified a couple of points in the article). Didn't know if you were still interested. :) Cathryn 18:21, 17 June 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Seinfeld Reference?
On your talk page, you say "I'm not mormon, not that there's anything wrong with that." Same with me, I live in Salt Lake and I'm not a Mormon. And I agree there's nothing wrong with that, but I'm just wondering, just simply wondering, if you got that from Seinfeld. I'm not accusing you of anything, just being curious. Well, cheers! 70.57.81.173 21:52, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
Oh, and I made the comment above. Sorry for forgetting to sign. Also, I agree with you on the Utah English talk page comment. Play-zhur? Never someone saying it like that. Fer cute? What does that mean? Well, I think the article should be deleted. Well, cheers! ←T•h•e R.S.J.→ 21:54, 29 August 2006 (UTC)
[edit] Thanks for tags on Surayud Chulanont
Thanks for placing those tags on Surayud Chulanont. I have cleaned up the article - you might want to have a look to see if it's all right. Patiwat 00:07, 16 October 2006 (UTC)
