History

It was the year 1999, when I joined Jesus Calls, an international evangelsistic ministry, as a video editor.Those were the days when the burden for the perishing souls was in my heart as a burning fire shut up in my bones(Jeremiah 20:9) I could still remember a day when I had cried for three hours, when a song, " How can I come to you Lord, ashamed and empty handed?" pierced my ears, startled my mind and shook my life.
Years passed by. But the fire and passion kept burning in my heart, unquenched. Who can quench the flame? Is it not God who lit the fire? I, then joined Angel TV as a video editior and step by step got promoted as the media manager. God's hand was with me in my every move and whatever I touched turned victorious. All glory to God alone.
It was mid 2004. It was a Sunday after noon(Happy time for all of us). It was all set for a peaceful sleep. Unexpectedly, I felt something super-natural.

I could feel that my spirit was struggling to get out of my body. After a brief struggle, my spirit came out of my body. With my spiritual eyes, I could see a breath taking view of lush green pastures. Still farther, I could see a palace, white as marble, with all its splendour and magnificence! Wow! Is that our nation's parliament, or Is it the American White House? No, it was much more spliendid than anything I could dream of. My mind was swept away for a moment. And when I looked at the pinnacle of the palace, I could see a dish antena. I could feel my spirit was going still higher. I could see tall banyan trees. Still higher... The ocean looked like a big blue carpet spreading to the horizons. Forgetting myself, I shouted JESUS!!!. The next second, my spirit came back to my body. For almost fifteen minutes, I experienced a severe head ache. With thousand questions, I got up from my bed - shell shocked. I kept thinking in my heart and praying about all that I expereinced.
In the meantime, we succesfully inaugurated Angel TV in December 2005. God used me as an instrument in all its endeavours. It was in the month of June, 2006, Bro. Mani Iyer came to our office. It was the first time I met him. He looked at me and said, " Listen to what God tells you!. You will be here inly for six months. And after that God will give a new TV channel in your hands. And all you need to do is be faithful". Hearing this prophesy, I laughed within myself just like Sarah. Just like Mary, I questioned myself, "How could this happen to me?". I could not believe anything what he said. How could I ever think of leaving Angel TV, which I considered my own home. But I soon understood that my thoughts are not His' and my ways are not His'.
In a few months, The founder of Angel TV, Sadhu Sundar Selvaraj, announced that Angel TV, which by then was riding succesfully with the cooperation and viewership of lakhs of people, was going to be closed. The entire spiritual fraternity of Tamil Nadu stood shocked. I was no exception. Though the channel was closed, aiya promised me that he would keep me wtih him in his ministry, since I was faithful to him. But I was confused on what to decide.
December 29th 2006. 2:15 A.M. I was half sleep. The presence of the Lord filled my room. I realised the emptiness in me before the presence of the most high God. I wept and shouted, "Oh I'm persihed", just like Isaiah. With a trembling heart, I confessed all my sins. I could feel my heart turning towards God. Before my eyes, I saw a white screen on which was written, " Healing Time!". I saw some more programmes too. God spoke to me and said, "This is how the programmes should be in the channel which you are going to start". And I said, "Lord, I can't do that. I'm not worthy to do that. May be you give this ministry to Bro. Dhinakaran or Bro. Mohan. C. Lazarus or Bro. Jawahar Samuel, I will work under them". But God said, "No, I want you to do it. And I said, "Lord I'm a small boy". And God replied, "Don't tell that. I can use a small David to kill giant Goliath. Just confess that you can do it". I hesitatntly said, "Lord, I need crores of money for this. Where would I go for it?". And God with an authoritative and strict voice replied, "I will give you the money, Just confess that you can do it." The argument resembled just like the one in mount Horeb. But the almighty God who overcame Moses in the burning bush, overcame me too. The moment I opened my mouth and confessed that I would do, a strong hand gripped my neck hard and fast and began to strangle it. And the moment I shouted "Blood of Jesus", the iron fisted strangle let me loose. The presence of God filled again. I took my cell phone and typed a short messeage to aiya asking him to pray for me. Then I slept.
After Angel TV was closed, I understood that the prophesy of God through brother Mani Iyer, fulfilled in my life. I thanked and praised God for the wonderful ways that He lead me.
In a fasting prayer on February 12th 2007, God was talking to us about the sufferings of the cross. When I worshipped the Lord with a broken heart saying, "Lord, did you not suffer all these for me?", God strengthened me saying, "If I have given myself to you, will I also not supply all your needs?". And from then on, I completely gave up my unbeleif of how I was going to manage the financial needs. When I was contemplating on what would be the objective and name for the channel, God clearly led me to Matthew - 28 :18 - 20 and emphasised that this channel would proclaim the gospel throughout the world. Since this channel would be centred on Salvation, I was led by the spirit to name it Salvation TV. As soon as I decided on this name, the presence of the Lord filled me more and more.
This mission is not out of my own will. It is a mission from the heaven anchored in the will of God. Hold us in your prayers for me and my team, that we may do His will perfectly. I thank God for giving me an opportunity to share my vision with you.
