Welcome to Wikipedia, and thank you for your contributions, including your edits to Ted Nugent. However, please be aware of Wikipedia's policy that biographical information about living persons must not be libelous. Any controversial statements about a living person added to an article, or any other Wikipedia page, must include proper sources. Thank you. --Elliskev 20:23, 12 March 2008 (UTC)
- Please refrain from personal attacks, like using the term "pig-headed user" as you did on the Talk:List of Avengers members. Also, please read wikipedia's policies on Wikipedia:Reliability and Wikipedia:Verifiability. I personally tend to think that Brevoort would probably be willing to make a post on the notice boards, or maybe add something to his blog, indicating that D-Man is an official member of the team. If we were to have that outside verification, that would be enough. At this point, what I would do if I were you would be to maybe go to the talk page of Wikipedia:Verifiability and ask specifically what sort of communication would be required to indicate that the source is verifiable, and give a brief description of the situation. Then, if you were to e-mail Brevoort again, indicating what kind of statements would qualify as reliable, he could make such a statement which would be able to be used as a source. Again, though, as per the policies above, we can't accept an e-mail we haven't ourselves even directly seen as being proof of anything, unfortunately. But, if we could verify that Brevoort made that statement, in compliance with existing policies, that would be another matter. And, personally, like I said, I think, given the high appearance anything from wikipedia has on google searches, there is a very real chance he'd be willing to make some statement which could be counted on as verifiable for our purposes.
