[edit] The Channel 289 ex-article

  • Re the Channel 289 article: Simply missing sources is not grounds for an article being speedily deleted. However, why I did delete the article was when it appeared to be a creation of GMTV Chart Show (talk · contribs · deleted contribs · logs · block user · block log) under a new user name. At that point, it qualified under criterion G3, blatant vandalism. Better tagging would have been {{hoax}} and {{db|G3: Recreation of article by apparent sockpuppet of a blocked user}}. That would have more clearly explained what was going on and required less research. (I wound up digging through your contributions to come up with GMTV Chart Show]'s correctly-spelled username.) —C.Fred (talk) 18:21, 7 June 2008 (UTC)
